Welcome to Samui Rescue Foundation - online information

1991 -  Founded on Koh Samui at temple Wat Phutarhan from donations through
          locals.

1992 -  Foundation moved to temple Wat Chang as the place was offered by the
          monks.

2001 -  Mr. Suwith the founder officially registered the Samui Rescue Foundation.

2005 -  Foundation purchases 2 Rai of land through donation at Baan Phru Kaan
          at 3 Moo, Angthong, Koh Samui, Suratthani.

2006 -  Foundation moved to a new location from temple Wat Chang at
          281/9, Baan Phrukan, Moo3, T. Anghthong, Koh Samui, Suratthani, 84140.

2007 -  Opened two new branches at Maenam and T. Maret respectively. 

 Samui Rescue Foundation's - GOAL
 
  A voluntary run, non profit Thai foundation comprising of volunteers mostly from Koh Samui and the  surrounding provinces
 who assist in times of emergency by providing comprehensive rescue service to the local community on Koh Samui.
 Rescue Samui Foundation volunteer's are involved on a day to day basis in general rescue operations around the island,
 some of the many rescues provided are for situations can be such as disaster, floods, natural calamities, road acidents and
 many more. The foundation also helps in promoting activities concerning Buddhism religion.
